Man’s Sovereign Person, Legal Corporate Structures, and the Western Church have an interesting relationship. To start: the Legal Status of a Corporation. A Corporation is a group of people authorized to act as a single entity (legally a Person) and recognized as such in lawIn Essence, these Individuals are no longer considered Personnel but are seen as Resources of a now pseudo-spiritual approximation of a Bodily Function.

One could easily make a Philosophical argument that Mankind– in some capacity– is a “Corporate (global) Body”. That may in fact be quite accurate to some extent, but to say that Mankind is of One conscious Intention, in totality, would be a ludicrous overestimation. Men most certainly still possess and express Individuality and Free Will. And yet, as We must painfully admit, that each Man or Woman undoubtedly emerges from the birth canal under a State Sponsored Corporate Flag. And upon said birth, One is immediately numbered as a “New Resource”, and even further, inevitably made indebted (e.g., taxes) to the Governing Body until “Death do Us part”. 

Many would probably hope that three Men working in unison to acquire an asset would– once awarded– divide it evenly and then continue on prosperously, forever. This Corporate Function should theoretically work unendingly, and may often work well for a long duration. But as progression of product advances Hierarchies will naturally organize and inevitably threaten the stability of the whole process. Now, this needn’t be seen as either a bad or good thing– it’s simply the way things are.

Let’s now enter the House of Theology from the Western (Protestant) Vantage Point: upon birth, One is made ancestrally culpable for the Moral Sins of Adam and Eve. Therefore, every Person that comes after Adam and Eve is bound to their Original Sin and made indebted to an infinitely angry God. This is also where the Doctrine of Sin Nature bares its teeth (i.e., that Man is born a wicked wretch– Sinful by Nature– and forever indebted). These Doctrines were taught by early “Saint Augustine(s)” (i.e., a phrase we’ll use to roughly encapsulate a group of like-minded unOrthodox Churchmen within a general time-period: 150 – 450 A.D.) who had redefined the well-established Ordo Theologiae (i.e., how Christendom arranges the Persons, Energies, and Triune Will of the Godhead).

Below is what We call: the “Disputed Order”. This dispute also helped solidify the schism that inevitably became the Eastern and Western Churches. The Above Order is the Orthodox view of the Godhead. The Below Order is the Western view of the Father in three separate persons.

In the Above Orthodox it All starts with God’s Person (i.e., the Unified Triune Godhead: Father-Son-Spirit); then the Godhead’s (Divine) Uncreated Energies; then the Godhead’s Will (i.e., Creation/Mankind).

Under the Latter Order the Triune Godhead is made murky by dividing the Godhead’s Persons into two distinctly separate Attributes (resources) of the now singular Father. The Father is now, arguably, “the Chief Executive Officer”, while the Son and Spirit are now passive Effects of Father’s Willing Causation. 

Once this resource-based thought paradigm crept into the Mind of Christendom the Essence of the Orthodox Godhead became a singular Father. The Father’s Nature and Willing Causation were combined to produce the Attribute of Christ (a passive agent to His own Creation). Along with, seemingly, another passive Attribute of the Father’s Will: the Holy Spirit. Here, the Father is “elevated”, for the most part, “above” His two other attributed “Selfs” (i.e., Son, and Spirit). The Father is now solely, God: the Major Shareholder in the Corporate Body of God.

This warrants a few tough questions: How can the Holy Spirit, or seemingly, Jesus Himself, be the differentiated Effects of the Father’s Will? If this be the case, how are they not passive agents to the Father’s Will? Further, how can God be separated from Himself into “lesser” positions?

From a metaphorical position the Western-God-Father is now the Law-Giving Major Corporate Shareholder who has two Major Company Attributes: a “Debt Collector” (Holy Spirit); and a “Bondsman/Lawyer” (Jesus). Man (the Corporate Asset) must now clear His Ancestral Debt of Inherited Wrongdoings with the Company Father, through Jesus, who pleads One’s case of Innocence before the previously weighted scales of His Birth. 

Is there anything more irrational than the Ancestral Inheritance of Guilt? Now, One can certainly inherit the peripheral reverberations of Ancestral Sin (e.g., the Son of a Murderer will always be the Son a Murderer). And yet, a Child would never be held legally responsible for either of their Parent’s unlawful actions as surely that would be unjust in the eye’s of any Rational System of Law.

More is needed to be said on this topic, much more. But for now it’s ever imperative to have a clear Vision of the Godhead. As Man’s Free Will is the Reflection of the Godhead’s Free Will. Plainly stated: the Triune Godhead is Unified and Equalized in Sovereignty. The Triune Will of the Godhead is what formulated Creation/Mankind. There is the Godhead (Divine, Uncaused, Uncreated) and the Godhead’s Will (Human, Caused, Created). Both the Godhead and Man possess Consciousness and Free Will. If a relationship between God and Man exists it will be predicated on just that: Free Will.
