Is there a place in the Church for science? Will science explain away the existence of God, or in turn solidify it? Can you be a scientist and also a believer in Jesus Christ, believing also in His supernatural accounts? Is there a process to authenticate the tangible resonance of the Spirit, a way to recognize the interaction between our intelligence and the injection of God’s divine insight? That unexplainable moment when the veil in your “mind’s eye” is lifted and God’s understanding is brought to light.

God tends to speak through His Spirit in a subtle tone. People hear His voice in a variety of ways. God knows how one responds as an individual, if one perceives a Divine thought, he or she generally waits for confirmation. Some receive confirmation of God’s voice through the words of a brother or sister, a moment of timing that could only be Divine. Others by Holy Spirit inspired cognitive revelation, accompanied by a rush of energy– bringing excitement, tears, or a warm tingling sensation throughout the body. For one it might be the simple act of turning to a page, that which speaks Life in abundance. Yet others are shown in plain sight the nature of His moving, as they are unable to believe without physically seeing.

Many have trouble understanding the nature of repentance– if one isn’t spiritually convicted their actions are sinful then how can one repent? It is said that faith and repentance are gifts from our Heavenly Father, as these actions are not innate. So if one feels the need to repent, and does so accordingly, must this be the first sign of a changing heart, a tangible account of Divine injection, understanding that surpasses intelligent reason?

25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. – 2 Timothy 2:25-26

4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?Romans 2:4

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.Romans 10:17

The other Divine gift of salvation is faith. God’s faith comes as one hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believes, then, usually in utter bewilderment, presses into the revealed Mystery of God and His Holy Word– seeking a level of understanding that no amount of worldly mysticism can acquire, allowing God’s Spirit of Understanding to surpass the reasonings of this world, while also being ready to submit to the developing reverence for His Truth in who Jesus the Messiah is. This is another moment when the Spirit’s tangible resonance is distinctly felt.

So if one hears that repentance of sins and faith in Jesus Christ are required for eternal life, then what is necessary to acquire such conviction? Simply, ask God for His conviction of sin, to show you where it is in your life, cry out for His Faith in Jesus Christ, that you might understand what seems so foreign. Seek conviction for repentance of sin from God, that you might feel His Spirit move in your consciousness.

We proclaim that one’s Faith in Jesus Christ is a resonating deposit of His Spirit. Seeing as most have never physically seen Jesus, and yet, profess boldly in the Authority of Love for Him, even up to the point of death. We theorize the highest point of measuring the Spirit’s tangible resonance is the moment when adrenaline meets True Peace– a living example of the Lord’s promise.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. – John 14:27
